Support the renovation at
the Maastricht Natural History Museum

The Natural History Museum is one of Centre Céramique’s public brands and is just one of the many ways we tell the story of the Cretaceous period and biodiversity. Families and grandparents with young children, pupils on class trips and (foreign) tourists can all discover a world full of natural treasures here. They gaze in amazement as they learn more about the Cretaceous period, the Mosasaur, the Maastrichtian age, and the biodiversity of Limburg.

The additional financial resources made available through the national coalition agreement are crucial to ensuring that we continue to reach this target group. It’s the stepping stone to a renovated Natural History Museum and one that requires investment.

The renovation plan in a nutshell:

  • Preserving the national monument, making it sustainable and future-proof
  • Renovating to maximise the building’s full potential
  • Renewing the museum’s exhibits and displays
  • Connecting with local, regional and national partners
